The men and women of ABS-CBN 10 Iloilo
TV Patrol sa Diyes, the prime news program of ABS-CBN TV 10 Iloilo, celebrates its third anniversary January 20, 2006. Three years after its establishment, TV Patrol sa Diyes has garnered several achievements and recognitions simply showing that the efforts of the men and women behind this program had bore fruit.
Composed of a credible and ingenious news force, TV Patrol sa Diyes has gained respect and patronage from the Ilonggo audience in its three years of existence. It has become a reliable source of news and information for the Ilonggos. However, TV Patrol sa Diyes is more than just the delivery of news, it has also established good relationships with various non-government organizations and has come up with outreach programs benefiting the less privileged sector of our society.

Steering TV Patrol sa Diyes to success is no less than the Station Manager of ABS-CBN Iloilo, Charie Ginete-Ilon who, having come up from the ranks, never fails to support the men and women behind the program. She is backed by the able leadership of Executive Producer Gemma Villanueva and her young but determined news force composed of Nony Basco, Israel Malasa, Jennifer Garcia, Klaire Belotendos, Nerissa Pedreso, Rhoda Garson and Mark Desello. Of course, TV Patrol sa Diyes would not be complete without Atty. Jobert Peñaflorida, its anchor, who treasures the program by heart, and the pool of fearless cameramen Edmar Gonzales, Martin de Leon, Jr., Alquin Lamprea, Stephen Somcio and Joeben Escaniel.

From news gathering to video editing to the newscast proper, Villanueva ensures that everything comes out satisfactory. That is why she sits in every stage of the news operations. Villanueva even boasted that they regularly submit reports to Manila which gets aired on nationwide television.
TV Patrol sa Diyes has pioneered in the conduct of a barangay outreach program it dubbed Kapamilya Kabarangay which is being imitated by the rival station. The outreach project offers various services like legal aid and medical mission in the barangays. The project has gained recognition from the top management and is now being replicated in other ABS-CBN stations nationwide.
