Scenes from WVTA Cocktail party
Adjunct to the recently concluded Western Visayas Tourism Assembly (WVTA), a cocktail party was held at Hotel del Rio last October 24, 2006. Guests from Manila and other parts of the country gathered to grace the said occasion. Aboard the Thai-inspired floating raft, travel agents and hoteliers as well as
tour guides brushed elbows with each other as they indulged themselves in the sumptuous servings of various treats. The party served as a remarkable beginning of good camaraderie among invited personalities. Visitors were able to experience the one-of-a-kind Ilonggo hospitality as they were welcomed by the Department of Tourism Region VI Director Edwin Trompeta. Hotel del Rio scion Tata 
Loring together with Microtel & Paramount executive Patrick Gregorio and Hotel del Rio's Hotel Manager Cris Cuevillas treated the guests with utmost warmth to ensure that they would enjoy the rest of the evening. Numerous famous individuals in the industry also came to exchange ideas and hopefully market the city to other parts of the country.
