Rational Insanity
Ramblings
To tell you the truthI had a different article prepared for this week, however, I decided against it because it was quite offensive and it was a very solid response to brainless people, so I decided to write a new article with the sole purpose of enlightening my avid readers, they are what I am here for anyway.
All right, now let's start off with the basic question - why?Why are certain people better than the rest? Why are some people richer than the rest? Why are certain people more privileged than the rest? Why does someone get sick and not the others? Why do some die early and some don't?
I am not here to claim that I can give youthe answers to all these questions because I am not an omniscient being, I am just a friend who could offer an explanation, however feeble, to the things that almost all of us ask ourselves.
I believe that the reason for all these questions of ours is the mere fact that we cannot accept the existence of a higher power that governs us.If unfortunately, we do recognize this higher power, then there is no need for these questions.
The secret to the answer to these questions lies in our ability to surrender. There are many things in life that we no longer have power over and the least that we could do is be the best that we could be in these things and surrender everything to a higher power. It does not take exclusive enlightenment of anybody saintly to decide on this, all of us are made in the image and likeness of somebody who knew that surrendering was divine. Our human capacities are nothing compared to the greatness that our faith represents. We cannot stand against the greatest good, because man, even in his best, is still ridden with all of life's imperfections.Remember that to be human, we must live, and while we live we are openly exposed to life's imperfections. The secret to achieving a certain level of divinity is recognizing these imperfections and surrendering ourselves to a total catharsis that cannot come from within ourselves but from a greater power. We have to accept the fact that as humans we are never divinely perfect and we are never truly whole.
The answer to our 'whys' comes with our surrender. When we have all learned to accept the fact that there are things that we cannot change then we have acceded to the divinity that rules us all.
I am not saying this differently for Christians, Buddhists, or whatever religion. The law of the universe applies to all.None of us knows the true name of God and none knows His plans. What is important is we recognize that presence, and in our frailty, allow ourselves to surrender to that presence.
The greatness of a person is always determined by how much he or she has surrendered.Greatness is not determined by how much we achieve in life, or earn from our businesses; it is determined by how much we have given up and how much we have surrendered.People who do not surrender to the sigils of greatness are spelling their faith in the afterlife.Hence, the need for us to be sensitive to what fate tells us.There is no fortune teller who can tell you exactly what to do, these people are merely skilled enough to guide you through the right path. Now, if you ask me whether we must believe in fortune tellers, I have this to say - learn from them, but do not be enslaved by them. They know nothing, they only know how to coax the universe into revealing its many secrets partially, never totally. They are not powerful, they are skilled in the ancient ways. They are not the answersto your whys, they are mere suggestions.
Be rational; be insane... every once in a while!!!TTFN!
