Museo Iloilo has become a portal of history as the much-awaited exhibit, Lines Across Time formally opened last February 12, 2007.
Fundacion Santiago, a more-than century old foundation whose dedication for heritage preservation remains to be unquestionable, brought to the old city of Iloilo the equally archaic photographs that depicts the affluent architectural wonders of the country during the late Spanish era. It defines the then culture and lifestyle of our forefathers which were further enriched by different structural influences of Malay, Hindu, Chinese, Japanese, and European origin.
Art enthusiasts and heritage lovers came to flock and to glimpse the once-in-a-lifetime exhibit, which was made possible by Heritage connoisseur Toti Villalon, famous creative director Teresa Custodio, virtuoso artist Ignacio Perez and Fundacion Santiago executive director Chaco Molina.
Lines Across Time will run until March 3 of this year.
