Cops undergo physical fitness test
"Men in blue" wear white as they subject themselves under the rigors of physical exercises in the regular fitness test conducted by the Human Resource Doctrine and Development (HRDD) of Police Regional Office (PRO) 6.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is a regular monitoring of the physical prowess of the PNP uniformed personnel; and, is a mandatory activity, except for the pregnant policewomen and those who are exempted by virtue of their present medical conditions.
PRO 6 regional director Chief Supt. Wilfredo D. Dulay Sr. said administrative sanction awaits personnel who failed to submit themselves for PFT and those who failed to get the minimum score average in the exercises, such as push up, pull up, sit up, 100-sprint and 1-kilometer run.
Dulay also added that "good physical condition is of paramount importance, especially with the nature of our job."
Today is the last day of the PFT for PNP personnel assigned in Iloilo City Police Office and the Regional Headquarters.
