Damaged roads
Almost all of the city roads are riddled with potholes. Unfortunately, it seems that the City Engineer's Office and the DPWH District Engineering Office are not doing anything to address this problem. Now could be the perfect timing for the repair of roads as we are having fine weather. Filling up the potholes with sand could not solve the problem. What is needed is the general repair of our roads.
Campaign violations
Campaign and propaganda materials of bets for the barangay and SK elections are now scattered everywhere. Noticeably, campaigning for the upcoming polls have become grander. Unlike before when most candidates use cartolina or sack for their campaign posters, some candidates now use the relatively expensive tarpaulin. Some posters even exceed the size required by the Comelec which is 2 feet x 3 feet. A lot of campaign materials are also posted in areas not designated by the Comelec as common poster area. For sure, the Comelec is also aware of these violations.
Garbage everywhere
Certain people are just unconcerned when dumping their garbage like in the above photo taken at Brgy. Rizal-Ibarra in the city proper. When will some of us learn the proper way of disposing our garbage?
