Ateneo de Iloilo's Shining Moments
Part 1
The 2007 Silver Jubilee Batch together with the Ateneo de Iloilo (ADI) - Santa Maria Catholic School Alumni Association and ADI High School Student Council presented of late a pre-Golden Jubilee gala presentation entitled JOURNEY…A Walk thru Life.
Some 200 students, parents, alumni, teachers and even the Jesuit Fathers walked the ramp and took center stage as the JOURNEY chronicles the important and momentous events in the life of every Sta. Maria Atenean - from the first steps in prep- school to the exciting elementary and high school years and extending further to the challenges of the professional world, with many exciting activities and events in between.
EARLY EDUCATION PRE-SCHOOL. Parents will never forget when their cute toddlers wore their first ever school uniform, had their first school supplies and dealt with their teachers.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES. Its not the colorful decorations and appetizing food that will be remembered but the smiles and energy of the people present on this special occasion. Whether they danced with Jollibee or Ronald McDonald or just with relatives and friends, nothing beats the joy of each birthday party.
FIRST COMMUNION. Christ-centeredness, the most important trait that every Atenean should possess, is reflected when a kid formally receives the Holy Communion for the first time. This marks the beginning of their Catholic life.
Directed by the talented Aldrich Aparicio, with the guidance of Fr. Manny Uy S.J. and the energetic President of ADI-SMCS Alumni Association, Atty. Joebert Penaflorida, together with the support and cooperation of the alumni, parents, students and friends whose one big dream is the construction of a new Ateneo Campus in Iloilo, the JOURNEY was a milestone.
