The Iloilo Young Designers proved that they have the ability to change the way people view fashion and that fashion shows are not just meant to sell clothes but for them to create a statement.
This group of young, innovative and creative designers showcased their design during Robinsons Place Iloilo's first Iloilo Fashion Festival on May 15, 2008.
Angel Tan bared the depths of her soul through the use of gray, black and white ensembles; Anna Lovella Gonzales her young, energetic and creative personality when she showcased rock and roll; Paolo Tugbang's gray colors and drapes reminiscent of Louis Stevenson's 'Kidnapping,'; complexity and diversity of human behavior by Florad John Gonzales; bringing out the best in someone through Jor-El Espina's enchanted creations; Marvin Banaag's use of sportswear fabric to show that comfort and style can go hand in hand; Peer Lynelle Bañas converted abuse into something pleasurable; and Robbie & Alyssa in their short and sexy dresses in catchy colors.

This writer's personal favorite in terms of wearability, creativity and the choice of music was Anna Lovella Gonzales and for his guts and creativity, Poalo Tugbang's showcase of bondage.
