The leader in Jaresh
The resident manager of Garden of the Ascension believes that success comes through patience

Pleaser given by Dinagyang Foundation.
During his student days, Jaresh Ng had been a leader in all the organizations he has joined in Saint Paul's University Iloilo where he took up Business Adminitration Major in Management.
When he graduated, he became the marketing officer for Garden of the Ascension, a memorial park development of Prudentialife Inc. That was in 2001. A week later, he became a marketing and training officer. He handled and trained agents to be part of the sales team. Even then, his leadership expertise came into play. Thus, three years later, he was promoted as resident manager of the same company. This makes his the youngest resident manager, at 29 years old.
"They based it on my performance. They probably believed in my potential as their employee," Jaresh said when asked about his fast promotion.
But even at a young age, Jaresh is said to have a mature outlook. Thanks to his interaction with sales agents (they also confide their personal problems to him), Jaresh has enough knowledge on what to do or advice in certain situations.

This is also the very same sales team he has professionalized by instilling unity and fair play. He is also known to be democratic in dealing with the staff. He's one who would ask his agents what they want especially on incentives and promotions. He also spends time with them in closing sales and side trips. This has earned him the love of the sales agents.
What's his secret to his success? "Listen to your people. That's the secret. When you listen to them, you get to meet at one point. That's how to maintain a harmonious relationship," he said. He's also known for his patience. He seldom gets angry. When something goes wrong, he always gets all sides before reacting. His reaction would be to make the wrongdoer understand the situation.

Jaresh is said to be a workaholic. He spends most of his time working. He starts work at 9 am and ends at 7 pm. "I still work after office hours because I could do my paper works without any interruptions. My office hours are allotted to attending to clients concerns so they'll feel that personalized service," he said.
But he has time for himself, too. And friends, of course. This extrovert's leisure time consists of hanging out at Smallville. He also goes to the spa twice a month. "I used to go bowling, badminton and jogging after work. But nowadays, I'm just too busy," he said.
Jaresh is also active in community work, being a new member of the Rotary Club of Midtown Iloilo.

He just never gets tired and he has his eight cups of coffee to energize him. "I'm a coffee addict. I take my coffee black. I drink Americano," he said. And when he eats, he loves fillets and other no-sweat food preparations. "I'm very practical when it comes to my personal comfort."
His day is capped with a dose of news on television. "Some say that it's not nice to watch news before you sleep because most information are bad news. But that does not affect me at all. I watch news because I want to be informed," he said.
When asked what principle guides him, he said, "Success through patience."
