Kathy: In what way does art affect you?
Romie: Art inspires my heart and my soul. It touches every part of my person. It also gives me enough courage and determination to search for what is good, true and beautiful. More than anything else, it gives great chances to thank God for giving the gift of talents.
Kathy: What is your dream presentation?
Romie: My dream stage presentation is a musical play that will showcase my skill and talent in dance, theatre and visual arts; something like Mama Mia and the like.
Kathy: I learned that you also had training in film under Joel Lamangan. How did this affect you?
Romie: My training in film under Joel Lamangan has opened my eyes to the many realities in the world especially in the area of film. I realized that hard work and perseverance will really make you reach your dreams and will eventually bring you to greater heights. I also learned that you have to follow your dream whatever it takes. In the future, I also want to produce a film that is socially relevant and will surely be a vehicle for change.
Kathy: How's the experience like being a mentor for theater and dance?
