Bing denies black propaganda on Libertad market
BACOLOD CITY -- Mayor Evelio Leonardia strongly denied the black propaganda against him that he will sell the Annex Building of Libertad Public Market to Deputy Spokesperson Anthony Golez, Jr.
Leonardia stressed that there was no instance that they talked about the issue raised and he does not think Golez will be interested in that kind of business.
“Never at once that we talked about Libertad Market,” Leonardia defended.
There are plans presented on what to do with the Annex Building or the second floor of the market which until now remains vacant.
Several establishments occupied the second floor before but they later transferred to the ground floor for lack of customers.
Leonardia described black the black propaganda as purely ‘inventions’, lies and scripted with the sole intention to discredit his administration.
But this black propaganada, Leonardia said, is not anymore new to him because his detractors have been doing it since then.
Last Monday the city was flooded with black propaganda entitled “Bi-Go”, narrating the projects of Leoanrdia and Golez with alleged irregularities.
Both Golez and Leonardia denied the issue saying that these are all misleading statements without basis.
