City school board allots P54.5M for classrooms
The Iloilo City Local School Board has apportioned P54.5 million of its Special Education Fund (SEF) for the construction, completion and repair of classrooms and other infrastructure projects that will be undertaken in 2010.
Treñas adheres to Comelec rule on police escorts
City Mayor Jerry Treñas has complied with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) guidelines allowing him to have only two uniformed police escorts. Since yesterday, only two police escorts were found guarding the mayor. He has also assigned two police auxiliaries in his office.
