A colorful Mr. and Ms. UI-PEN 2010
Miss UI-PEN 2010 May Ann Salve Thornton.The search for the first Mr. and Ms. University of Iloilo – PHINMA Education Network (UI-PEN) was a colorful and happy event held at the university quadrangle. It was attended by the university’s officials, faculty and students.
Adjudged as Mr. and Ms. UI-PEN 2010 were Clyde Tan Pelasol from the College of Management and Accounting and Mae Ann Salve Thornton from the College of Computer Studies and Engineering. The first runners-up were Andro dela Mota from the College of Nursing and Kimberly Gange from the College of Management and Accounting. The second runners-up were Joseph Cabrerar from the College of Education and Jazryl Lynn Cabusbusan of the Basic Education (High School).
The other contenders were Kathlene Inesoria and Rosely Valenzuela (College of Criminology), Ma. Deerah Alog and Erwin Catalan (Arts and Sciences), Ruiz Jay Escollar (Education), Orean Ace Omapas (Basic Education), Noelvi John Pama (Computer Studies) and Lorena Joy Tupaz (Nursing).
The search for Mr. and Ms. UI-PEN 2010 was the highlight of the university’s 63rd Foundation celebration.
The event’s sponsors were Esca’s Garden Restaurant, J&R Family Studio, Jerald Posadas of Felines, RGO Review Center and Alta Moda by Alex Soncio.
