Launches ‘Surf ‘N Mail’ combo
With more and more people using their handsets to access the Internet, leading wireless services provider Smart Communications, Inc. (SMART) now offers ‘Surf ‘N Mail’, a suite of new data packages that cater to the varying mobile browsing and email needs of postpaid subscribers.
According to Danilo J. Mojica, head of Smart’s Wireless Consumer Division, “ Mobile data is an increasingly important value-added service we make available to our subscribers, and all our offers are designed to continue making access to mobile data more affordable. With the different Surf ‘N Mail packages, our subscribers can choose the one which truly suits their budget and mobile data consumption.”
The ‘Surf’ package offers eight hours of mobile browsing, valid for 30 days, at P119. To avail of this package, Smart Gold subscribers simply need to text COMBO SURF to 8977.
For subscribers that want an unlimited amount of email ‘pushed’ to their celphone inbox, plus a total of eight hours of mobile browsing, the ‘Surf ‘N Mail’ package is valid for 30 days at the fixed and affordable cost P299. To avail, text COMBO MAIL to 8977.
For subscribers that want more mobile browsing time, the ‘Surf ‘N Mail Max’ package offers 16 hours of mobile browsing plus push email, at only P399 for 30 days. To avail, text COMBO MAX to 8977.
The variants that come with unlimited email allows subscribers to register up to two email accounts, to have their Yahoo!, Gmail, or Hotmail messages pushed to their celphone inbox, enabling them to read and send emails as well as download or attach files while on the go. The email service also allows mobile back-up, ensuring against loss of data, and features data compression, enabling users to view large amounts of data through their celphone.
