Gallar resigns from Liberal Party

Finally, he made up his mind.

Board Member Manny Gallar formally resigned from his party affiliation, Liberal Party, after his fellow members, in their several meetings, allegedly ignored him.

Gallar said there is no use staying in the party anymore since I could not stomach the blatant corruption and anomalies that is happening.

Governor Niel Tupas , Sr. stands as the titular head of Liberal Party- Ugyon .

Gallar said he could not give up his principle just for the sake of party affiliation.

He added though that he would continue to be the watchdog of the people in the provincial board.

In last Tuesday's session, Gallar together with board members Bernardo Silla , Macario Napulan and Licurgo Tirador opted to become the “conscience block” in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan after they were stripped of their committee chairmanships .

The four board members belong to the minority group.
