Subject of the disciplinary action are inmates Jesus Maravilla of San Miguel and Renato Dago of Janiuay.
Part of disciplinary action is the suspension of their privilege in conjugal visit and “sunning”, the opportunity given the inmates to see the sunlight.
Mabugat said the two prisoners are also being isolated in order not to harm other inmates.
Likewise, Mabugat ordered jail guards to closely monitor and inspect each cells for improvised deadly weapons.
He admitted that inmates are hiding some of their improvised weapons inside their cell and some are in their pillows.
Strict inspections for visitors are also observed . This is in order to secure that there are no deadly instruments and other things that will be given to the inmates.
Mabugat said that the occurrence of like incident is also due to lack of prison guards in IRC. |
