Fitting gowns for that 'I do' moment

There is nothing more essential to men and women than to be with the person they love the most and to be able to share their lifetime with their loved one. And their lifetime as a couple starts with the

wedding, the first day of the rest of their life.

The once in a lifetime is also the time when the bride and groom look their very best.

The bride wears her lovely gown, smiling to her excited family and friends; and the groom is in his finest suit, as he waits patiently for the “I dos” at the altar.

June 1 at Robinsons Place Iloilo held a Fashion show in its Fountain area.

The show, entitled 'Wedding Rituals,' featured the much acclaimed works of Frederick Peralta.

Peralta displayed his romantic wedding gowns. His detailed design and fabric experimentation 'wowed' the crowd.

Jewelry collection by Ichi Pichi highlights further the sophistication of each design of the wedding gowns. Nueva Flora's rare flowers and foliage assortment capped them off with a more dream effect.

The works of local designers Jaki Peñalosa, Bo Parcon, Angelette Borja Ragus, Don Protacio, Sol Fernandez, Claire Jarantilla, Nonoy Jaranilla, Mandy Salcedo and Francis Ian Chua were also paraded.

Wedding Rituals fashion show is an opening salvo for the nine-day wedding essentials fair, from June 3 to 11. It will showcase wedding gowns, jewelry exhibits, cake design, gift items, souvenirs, photography and arrangements of top hotels.

The exhibit are participated by Al dente, Amigo Terrace Hotel, Bitsy Bebsy, Centerpiece, Cream Magazine, Four Seasons Hotel, Ichi Pichi, Image Up, Magnificents, Paloma Photography, St. Yves Steak & Grille, Ralph's Wines & Liquors, St. Rafael Development Corporation, Things Remembered, Winners Gym, Days Hotel, and Remdel Enterprises.
