Yaya accuses Sir of rape

A 23-year-old housekeeper and nanny has accused her employer, an engineer, of multiple rape.

Vicente Junsan, an engineer working at the New Iloilo Airport Development Project, is now the subject of a complaint which the National Bureau of Investigation filed before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor.

According to NBI investigation, Junsan raped the 23-year-old victim named 'Maychell' more or less 10 times from February to April this year. The first was on February 8, when Maychell was preparing food. The NBI alleged that Junsan dragged Maychell into her room and raped her; after which he threatened to kill her if she would reveal what had happened. The last incident took place April 28, around 10 pm in the living room.

Dr. Karen Bordador, attending physician at the Western Visayas Medical Center, said in a medico-legal certificate date May 25, 2005 that there were healed incomplete lacerations in the victim's genitalia.

Junsan's counsel, lawyer Charina Canoy, the NBI said in a statement, said that they will submit a counter affidavit to rebut Maychell's allegations.
