Now that GMA admitted that it was her voice on the tape… do you think she should resign? Why?
SUSAN DELA CRUZ
No, She doesn't have to.
SANDRA SARABIA-GOMEZ
No, I believe she was asking and there was no malice.
STELLA ARUNGAYAN
Resign? And who shall replace her? The incumbent Vice President? It's just like jumping from the pan to the fire. To quote Fr. James Reuter, SJ “By GOD's grace, we may yet see a better future for our children. GOD bless and GOD save our country (from stupid and corrupt politicians)!” From “the only hope for the Philippines”.
TONETTE JALANDONI
No, she should not, for several reasons: at this point, there is no one better to replace her & of the bits and pieces we've heard, there is nothing in the tape damaging enough to demand her resignation or impeach her. It's quite obvious what the oppositions motives are and they do not present themselves to be a better alternative.
MARIE DIVINAGRACIA
No.
PAULINE BANUSING
I have to simply put it that I am for GMA all the way, who else? Noli? Bwahahahaha!
MARILOU CACHO
No, because it will create more problems. I feel that at this moment there is no one to replace her.
TINA ARANCILLO
No. We have to investigate first.
RENETTE UY
I believe when she admitted it, somehow it showed how desperate she was to serve the country and she'll do anything! I have to give it to her for that really took courage... other people may think where is the integrity in that. But most politicians don't have it anyway! She should now keep all the promises she made to prove how desperate she was to be president… I'll have her anytime as President rather than some actor who doesn't know how to speak english! Cruel it may seem to be but it's reality!
MERRY YUE SIN
She must not resign because I believe in her capacity as President. Those politico speak for themselves and they don't care if we have enough food on our table coz they are rich. If there is civil war, they just go to another country. Tell them to shut their mouth and leave her to make our nation great again.
TINTIN VILLAR-BAYONA
No, at least she had the honesty to admit and apologize in public, that simply shows how strong type of person she is.
MANDY RIVERA
No, because having Noli de Castro as the next President will be our worst nightmare!
DR. TESS LAMINERO
No. Admitting a fault in public and done by the President of the Republic is a highly commendable act and deserving to be given the chance to lead our nation as a model of truth, humility & sincerity. Enough of politicking. We should all unite and help so our country will progress.
MARICEL AQUINO
Her credibility to lead the nation as a leader is put at stake. A true leader does not discount the moral issues that come his way. Hopefully, our President will make a decision about her status with more wisdom and dignity.
MELISSA SOLIVEN
No. Let her just prove that she can be a good President.
PATTY BORRES-GARCIA
Honestly, she lost her credibility but I'm sick and tired of another EDSA scenario so I'd rather give her another chance (hopefully not to make a fool of herself).
DR. WENDY UY
No! President GMA already humbled herself by making a public apology which is the highest form of humility made by the President. If GOD can forgive, who are we not to forgive President GMA? We should accept her apology, respect her as our President and support her in all her plans. Let us stop our crab mentality. Let's stop making mountains out of mole hills. Let's stop polotiking and move for a better Phillipines! TY
MALS TINSAY-LOCSIN
It's humbling on her part. I don't want her to resign because the evil mastermind wins. They're devious and can't be trusted! However, she should exile Mike, Iggy and Mikee!
SANDY DIZON-LIM
Yes because nobody believes her anymore!
MARIGOLD TABIANA-ARMADA
GMA must submit herself to legal investigation and due process. If she's proven guilty, she has to step down from her position because our country needs a righteous and honest leader… a President who is sincere and put the peoples welfare before her own personal interest.
SUSIE FACULTAD
No. Who else is more qualified to replace her? I don't think it would do any good to our country if we keep on telling our President to resign everytime she makes a wrong judgement. Maybe as good citizen of the country, we should let the President run the government and let us unite and support her. In the first place it was us who put her in that position. So let's trust her for the rest of her term and let her perform her duties as the President of this country.
PERLA BAGUIO
No need! All of them did the same but she's the one who is brave enough to admit it.
MILDRED NECESSARIO
No. Her resignation won't solve the ongoing political crisis and poverty. This will only satisfy the unsatiable agenda of others. Besides, nobody is fit to be President.
PILAR CATEQUISTA
GMA will not because she is only human and she admitted her mistake publicly. Only Susan Roces, Loren Legarda, Ping Lacson and Francis Escudero shall resign. As of today, no potential opposition leader.
