Feria Espanola in Iloilo

Iloilo had its first celebration of the Philippines-Spain Friendship Week last month and Feria Espanola was one of the most important events during the celebration. It featured world-class Spanish products such as wines, cheeses, colognes, olives, sardines and biscuits The trade fair was held at the Grand.

Ballroom of Hotel del Rio where it was participated in by Global Gourmet-Importer of Wines, Mapfre Insurance, Espa-Fil Import Export, Mondial Tours, Fuego Hotels, Barcino Gourmet, Soluziona-Information Technology, Cemex-Cement Manufacturer, Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Oriental Merchants, Link Import Export, Espadrilles from Spain, Kromopeak-Importer of Food Products, Bestworld Beverage, KLM Airlines and ABS-CBN TV 10-Iloilo as event partner.

Other exciting events included free Flamenco Lessons, Flamenco performances and other Spanish regional dances; Wine Appreciation Seminars and Spanish Cooking demonstrations.
