POEA jobs fair set August 12 and 13

An in-house jobs fair will be conducted by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration 6 (POEA6) on August 12 and 13.

Rhea Glynda Calantas, Officer In Charge, POEA 6 said that this jobs-fair will be exclusively for those interested to work as Factory Workers abroad. The said fair will be held at their office located at the 2 nd floor, S.C. Divinagracia Bldg., Quezon St, Iloilo City.

Those who are qualified are the following: males, not more than 38 yrs. old, no criminal record, at least high school graduate and physically fit (ex. complete set of fingers). Factory work experience NOT necessary.

Those who meet the said qualifications should submit: six (6) pcs. 2X2 colored ID picture with red background and name tag; NSO-authenticated birth certificate; OR photocopy of passport, if available; valid NBI clearance; diploma, high school and/or college; employment certificate, at least 3 yrs. for high school graduate and 1 year for college graduate.

Screening of interested applicants will start from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on August 12 and 13.

Calantas said this overseas employment opportunity is strictly government to government hiring. (PIA)
