Central Philippine University celebrated its 100 years in education with series of activities from July to December 2005.

Last July 31 to August 7, a Grand Centennial Reunion Week was organized for the alumni. It was highlighted by the Grand Centennial Dinner at the university gymnasium on August 6. Alumni gathered to refresh their memories of the school they have once been a part of.It was also to honor Dr. Alfonso Uy as the ‘Centralian of the Century'.And in one voice, Centralians sung its ‘CPU Forever' (CPU Centennial Hymn) that portrayed its years of excellence in education. Making it more memorable also was the crowning CPU's Centennial Alumni Queen.
