There were 331 passengers on board the ship including Mayor Carlos Cabangal, Vice Mayor Exequiel Palec of Banate, municipal planning officers of Saranggani province, Leyte, Surigao and Zamboanga and students from Western Visayas College of Science and Technology (WVCST).
