STI ready to complete Tesda's requirements for Diploma in Health and Nursing AideSTI College of Iloilo assures its students and the public that it will exert all efforts to comply with registration requirements set by the Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (Tesda) for the Diploma in Health and Nursing Aide (DHNA). STI College Iloilo top managers represented by Mr. Francis R. Benedicto and Engr. Michael D. Arancillo, the President/CEO and Administrator/COO, respectively, meet with Director Yolanda C. Porschwitz last Friday (August 27), to discuss regarding the two-year Diploma in Health and Nursing Aide (DHNA) course. As recalled, its registration and recognition to the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS) has been delayed. During the meeting, Mr. Benedicto assured Dir. Porschwitz that STI College-Iloilo will exert all means to comply with the registration in order to comply with UTPRAS registration. He further stressed that almost all of the necessary documents or requirements had been complied with and the remaining few are now being completed. He also reiterated that these documents would be fully completed and submitted within thirty days. STI has closely worked with Tesda by abiding with its directives and regulations. STI's ICT courses currently offered have been granted full UTPRAS recognition. Benedicto further assured the students that, STI College Iloilo administration; faculty and staff will strongly continue to uphold their commitment to them in providing the best education. Citing the fact that since STI College Iloilo first opened its doors to the Filipino youth in 1988, it has been at the forefront of ICT education and is now spearheading efforts in responding to the changing needs of the global markets and industries. This is in relation to STI's commitment in developing individuals to become valuable and productive contributors to society, specifically to the Ilonggos with utmost integrity, dedication and creativity. |
