Justice for Bobby Tan, et al.
I firmly believe that the souls of Bobby Tan, his wife Cindy Zayco, and their six-year old daughter Catherine won't leave this earth forever in peace. I have this very strange feeling, their souls are just out there somewhere, wandering in limbo, grieving for their eternal rest.
The three were brutally murdered by their assailants, giving them not a chance to fight back and unfortunately there was no witness to the crime.
The act is abominable, that perhaps even Someone up there is screaming for justice...!
Why even Catherine who is still at a very young age must suffer the wrath of these brutes? You beasts... how could you?
A struck of lightning isn't enough for you to get burn into hell.
I admit my heart bleeds for this innocent soul. Oh, Catherine, little angel, I could not imagine the pain you were going through as you were being stabbed mercilessly by the ruthless killers.
What drove these killers to carry out their act of butchering the victims is beyond reason. And to happen right within the full security of their house that even a single fly or a mosquito could hardly fly in is a big mystery.
Would the victims' slaughtering have had happened outside their own abode, the emotional impact could have been entirely different.
Now it can be told, not every one of us can really be safe from harm.
For right even in the privacy and intimacy of one's bedroom, a misfortune may arise without warning caused by man or due to a natural calamity.
No wonder some of us are getting paranoid; lest we expect the strangers to hurt us, little did we know it could have been inflected upon us by our own kin, bosom friends or by people whom we trust the most.
It has been biblically prophesied, "That brothers would kill his own brothers, siblings would kill his own parents, and vice-versa; so it has been written, so it shall be done."
Now, I beseech you brothers, whoever you are - admit, make an early confession, ask for forgiveness from your Creator while there is still time. Your surrender is not an act of cowardice; it could have saved you from rotting in a calaboose, if not from lethal injection.
It could even turn you into an instant celebrity and pave your way to "stardoom," err, stardom.
Who knows, international and local film producers may take interest in your story. This is one in a million opportunity, mind you. Certainly, a juicy offer hard to resist that could make you salivate is not far from behind. Or better perhaps, take the acting role yourselves for authenticity, and not necessarily for art's sake, so goes the cliche'.
All you have to do is cry a river again to the satisfaction of the public.
But before enjoying the fame, let justice for Bobby, et al. prevail!
