Boboy's imminent doom
Except for being a perennial loser while seeking a congressional seat in Makati, Metro Manila in the past, former 2nd district congressman Augusto "Boboy" Syjuco, now TESDA Secretary, was virtually an unknown identity when he first "invaded" Iloilo in the mid-90's.
Blame it to the controversial couple, former Gov. Emily Lopez of Guimaras and her better-half Toto Albert, whose deafening silence while serving as a congressman of the same district was legendary, who brought Boboy along with them to a "Promise Land."
The couple, perhaps in good faith, handpicked Boboy to bequeath an unfinished legacy for their constituents not knowing they would be raising a venomous python right in their own backyard.
Boboy then had no political credentials to speak of, except he was married to a native Ilongga coming from a well-bred family "kuno."
Voila! Boboy was "miraculously" resurrected, and rose from a long slumber of political hiatus he did.
The grandiose manner of his acceptance as adopted son appeared to be chaotic to the people in the 2nd District. It seemed hell was created in their midst as an act of punishment for putting their trust and idolizing somebody behaving like a Greek god.
The promises Boboy had pledged at the time he was seeking for political support was nothing but an empty balloon.
His indiscriminate manner of "beso-beso" to anyone was after all a bait to attract unsuspecting potential voters. He reminds me of someone who "betrays the Son of Man with a kiss."
Yes, Virginia, Boboy is a full-fledged actor, and I suspect, the art of deception is his mastery.
Calling him a leech by concerned citizens is an understatement, a vacuum cleaner is more appropriate.
What else can I best (defined: worst) describe this man?
Oh, yes, he accused recently one of the most respected and beloved sons of Iloilo, Senate President Franklin Drilon as a curse.
Lucky for him he was not hit by a lightning with his foul utterance against Franklin. The act of his vulgarity can be considered blasphemous, for sure the Ilonggos won't take this sitting down.
He may not be aware of this, but whom God wanted to destroy He made successful first. He made him congressman, then his wife, then TESDA Secretary. Just wait for a little while, soon you'll get your price delivered right at your doorsteps, packed hot and fresh.
Why drag the good name of our Senate President over the controversies Boboy himself created?
The more he opens his mouth to spread his venomous attacks, the deeper he digs his own grave.
His habit of fabricating issues against those whom he failed to harass or bribe, no longer holds water as he has already been unmasked having a zero credibility. He is perceived as one of Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's greatest, greatest blunder having included his name in her cabinet.
I think he is hired by GMA not because she likes him a lot. On the contrary simply because she hates him so much, hence her reason for putting this "Ilonggong Hilaw" in a snake pit.
By the way, what happened to your "Turil ni Niel" a.k.a. "mother of all scams" expose' as dictated by your hordes of "alipores" against Gov. Niel D. Tupas, Sr.?
As of late you came up with another "Turil ni Niel II" as your continuing never-ending saga to destroy a good man whose credibility has never been tainted an iota of doubt for more than 30 years in public service.
Could you speak the same for yourself if I may ask you sir, gentleman, congressman, Mr. Secretary?
Your penchant for creating enemies instead of friends gives me a big puzzle. Unless you are suffering from psychosis then I'll rest my case. Don't you know you are the extreme opposite of the man from the capitol you'd wish to destroy? Got so many questions to ask but I only have had enough listed above.
Apparently, your "order of battle" list is rapidly increasing, from Gov. Niel D. Tupas to Provincial Administrator Manuel "Boy" Mejorada, from Senate Pres. Franklin Drilon. To former congressman Oscar "Oca" Garin. Who is next?
Oh, Boboy, Boboy, your star is imminently in doom!
