'I was accosted, forced to admit illicit affair with the Chief,' hospital worker reveals
The controversial third party in the immorality issue hurled against a hospital chief of the Province has officially spoken and denied the charges.
In return, Rosalinda Lauron of Jaro, Iloilo City turned the tables on a top Capitol official saying this woman executive and her group accosted her and treated her like a criminal.
In a two-page affidavit obtained by The News Today (TNT), Lauron hit back at her 'attackers' supposedly led by Alma Ravena, Human Resource Chief of the Iloilo Provincial Government. The incident as alleged, occurred in the morning of February 28th where Ravena and associates brought Lauron to one of the hospital's isolated rooms.
"And there and then, deprived me of my liberty and compelled me against my will to admit that I have an immoral relationship with Dr. George A. Acepcion which I vehemently denied then and now," excerpts of Lauron's sworn statement went. "That one point, said Ms. Ravena due to her exasperation because of my vehement denial shouted at me but when I started to cry, she mellowed down and thereafter, I ran out of the room and cried my heart out on the shoulders of my friend, Ms. Mase Bolatao at the Operating Room Department."
Lauron further added that she strongly registered her objection to what she termed was the "inhuman treatment in the guise of an investigation in connection with an alleged complaint which I was not properly apprised of."
"The "investigation" was so conducted by Ms. Alma Ravena as if I was already guilty of disgraceful or immoral conduct without giving me the opportunity to be heard," she ended.
Charges are being mulled against Ravena and yet to be identified Capitol personalities over the incident.
