Missing man in Antique feared dead
Hopes begin to fade for the family of Jerry Francisco of Sitio Inulingan, Barangay Ilaud, Bugasong, Antique after search and rescue efforts yielded negative results nearly a month when he was first reported missing.
Two male suspects have been subject of corresponding police investigation after family members identified the duo as the last companions of the missing 41 year-old.
Francisco was last spotted in the afternoon of May 16th yet relatives only informed the Bugasong PNP five days later.
The extensive search was launched thereafter as neighbors joined the family for similar effort throughout the town.
In an interview, Juanito Francisco, father of the missing man told radio reporters that the two men he reported to authorities could very well be the ones responsible for his son's fate. And he is ready for the worst, he added, given the length of time that his son was not heard of nor seen in Bugasong and the province.
It was not however clear what motive, if any, the duo has nor their connection to the missing Francisco kin.
Investigation continues with Antique police pursuing the manhunt, search and rescue operations.
