3ID Phil Army opens recruitment of new soldiers
The 3RD Infantry Division Philippine Army is now calling for those who are interested to join the enlisted force of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Philippine Army recruitment for Candidate Soldier for Calendar Year 2006 will start on July 24, 2006 at Camp General Macario Peralta Jr, Jamindan, Capiz.
There will be a Philippine Army Aptitude Test Battery (PAATB) to be administered by the Army Recruitment Center for Visayas on 31 July 2006 at Camp Lapu-lapu Cebu City. Applicants must possess the following qualifications: (1) natural born Filipino citizen; (2) unmarried and without dependent; (3) has completed the second year of a collegiate course from an educational institution recognized by the government: in case of a male applicant, is a high school graduate who possesses technical or special skills; or, in case of female applicant, is high school graduate who possesses technical or special skills necessary in the performance of non-combatant/administrative duties; (4) must be between 18-25 years old; (5) 5'4" in height for male and 5'2" for female; (6) physically and mentally fit for military training. Applicants are advised to bring their college diploma/vocational course certificate; transcript of records; birth certificate (NSO) and valid Identification Card.
Meanwhile, those applicants who passed the PAATB Exam are advised to bring the following requirements in six (6) copies with long white folders at Camp Peralta, Jamindan, Capiz: (1) whole body picture (5R colored); (2) bio-data with 2x2 picture (colored); (3) live birth certificate (NSO); (4) Marriage contract of parents (NSO); (5) affidavit of singleness (NSO certified); (6) Transcript of records; (7) college diploma/vocational; (8) Philippine Army Aptitude Test Battery (PAATB) Result; (9) drug test result- to be conducted by Camp Peralta Station Hospital, 3ID, PA; (10) HEPA Test Result -- to be conducted by Camp Peralta Station Hospital, 3ID, PA; (11) Clearances: Barangay, Police, Mayor, Municipal Trial Court/Regional Trial Court and NBI.
