Our lady of Fatima to visit Kabankalan
The image of Our Lady of Fatima from Portugal will pass by the city of Kabankalan on July 27, Thursday. The image is expected to arrive at 3 p.m. and will stay overnight at the Kabankalan cathedral.
In the morning of the same day, the Fatima will be in Bacolod cathedral where a mass will be held. Then she will pass by Pontevedra catholic church where a healing session will be held with Sister Gloria Ross, R.V.M. There will also be a distribution of Fatima medallions.
Bishop Patricio Buzon will welcome the Fatima in Kabankalan. There will be an exposition of the Blessed Sacrament Benediction, healing sessions and distribution of Fatima medallions. At 6 p.m., a holy mass will be held at the cathedral to be followed by a flag ceremony and public veneration. The Fatima visit coincided with the celebration of Kabankalan’s 9th Charter Day celebration that started July 26 to Aug. 2.
The Lady once came to the little village of Fatima and appeared six times to three children, with a message from God that the whole world would be in peace, and many souls would go to Heaven if Her requests were listened to and obeyed.
There will be again a holy mass in the morning of July 28, Friday, at the city cathedral before the Fatima will depart for Dumaguete City.
