Coscolluela on political leaders: It's time to move on
Rafael Coscolluela
Western Visayas Presidential Adviser Rafael Coscolluela said that it is now time for political leaders to move on and work on the priority projects of the government that needs their attention.
"Let's move on to work on our priority projects like the mega-region and development of peace agreement in the region," Coscolluela said in reaction to the dropping of the impeachment complaint against President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
He said he would like to see the 2007 national budget deliberated and passed because its delay hampers the implementation of the projects to where they are needed.
Coscolluela also noted that only in Metro Manila where the impeachment complaint is intense, but in the provinces that is not the case.
With the impeachment complaint dropped by the House of Representatives on Thursday, it is time to move forward.
"Let's allow the country to focus on other urgent concerns," he said.
Coscolluela said that people have to think of positive ways to help the government especially that Guimaras island in Western Visayas is now experiencing a huge pollution problem.
