The Department of Trade & Industry -- Iloilo Office has recently completed the delivery, installation and inspection of computer packages in 40 recipient schools in the City and Province of Iloilo. The project, Personal Computers for Public Schools (PCPS) is DTI's response to the compelling challenges posed by the ever-evolving Knowledge Economy. It aims to enhance the IT skills of Filipino youth as the country's future knowledge workers and promote IT culture in classrooms as an avenue to develop these skills and be at par with global standards.
