International lifestyle designer, PJ Arañador, along with other award-winning Ilonggo fashion designers, Bo Parcon, Don Protasio, Jaki Peñalosa, Eric de los Santos and Angelette Borja-Ragus showcased a spectrum of hablon creations from streetwear, formal wear, club wear to resort dressing.

Hablon Moda, part of the Iloilo Kawayan Market Week 2006, is bent on promoting kawayan/bamboo products, hand loom fabrics and accessories through the medium of a fashion presentation.

Iloilo Mayor Jerry P. Treñas and Mrs. Rosalie Treñas, chic in a fuchsia terno, were the guest-of-honor. International Ilongga supermodel Ria Bolivar, flew in from Manila to model. Local personalities who have supported the local weaving industry be wearing hablon creations were given a plaque of recognition.

Among them who were recognized was Dr. Florentino Alerta II, Mr. Irma Lim, Ms. Amihan Pares, Mrs. Rosalie Treñas and Mr. Rofel John Parreño. The event was held at Robinsons Place Iloilo at the fountain Area. A weeklong exhibit of bamboo and hablon products capped the market week.
