A hilarious and memorable Christmas program heralded the annual St. Paul University Iloilo Christmas celebration with the theme: "Celebrating Christmas with Hope and Love", Thursday evening, December 21, 2006, at the school's multi-purpose gym. With charming faculty dalagitas, "pogi" guapo solteritos, Paulinian sisters and jubilant university staff personnel took part in the 5-hour evening musical, choral, pageant, and innovative dances.

The full-force faculty members of the Department of Nursing under the baton of Ginalyn Gotico rendered the meaningful story of the birth of Jesus Christ. Each department had its own special number including the janitorial personnel that brought the fully packed audience swayed their heads in their seats to the tempo of holiday music.

The surprise number and the most applauded presentation of the Paulinian sisters brought the audience to their feet with jubilation as the smiling sisters sang Wowowee popular song "Boom Tarat Tarat" as the sisters swayed their hips and shook their legs and danced to the tune of "boom boom boom" the throng gave them a standing ovation. Paulinian sisters were also game na game.

The fun-filled and enjoyable program ended with a Christmas message from Paulinian president Sister Carolina Agravante who said, "Let's give hope a chance and may our lives mirror the life of Jesus." Christmas harana ensued with the distribution of one sack of rice to all faculty and staff, a bag full of apples and a handsome cash gift to boot.
