Mejorada dares Defensor: 'Run vs Tupas', hits DOJ Sec as 'senile clinging to power'
Top Iloilo governor's aide, Manuel "Boy" Mejorada continues to hit Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez with even more scathing criticisms posted on his web page and blog-site http://iloiloupclose.wordpress.com/
Another 'victim' joining the Ilonggo Cabinet Secretary is fellow Ilonggo, Third District Congressman Arthur Defensor, the said solon Mejorada said, were behind the "assault on democracy" in the Iloilo Capitol along with Secretary Augusto "Boboy" Syjuco, Director-General of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Gonzalez according to Mejorada is a "senile case still clinging to power" as he went on to ask, "Is this the kind of man to whom you would entrust the fate of the nation? Tsk, tsk, tsk. President (Gloria) Arroyo must really be desperate for "yes"-men in her inner circle that she can't let go of an obvious senile individual clinging to power."
Mejorada also called the Justice Secretary "ignorant of the law" saying "instead of upholding the law, he breaks the law."
This as he went on with his personal attacks adding that, "maybe the fact that he's 78 old and senile have contributed to the state of his mind."
"With Gonzalez as justice acting secretary, this government is worst than the regime of Saddam Hussein or Adolf Hitler," Mejorada wrote.
Meantime, strong words too for Congressman Defensor with one 'blog' dedicated to him.
"What's keeping Iloilo 3rd District Congressman Arthur Defensor from running for governor in the May 14, 2007 elections against incumbent Niel D. Tupas, Sr.?" Mejorada began. "This is going to be a grudge fight that should settle once and for all the issue of leadership in Iloilo. For all his bluster and arrogance, Defensor seems to be afraid of being dealt a certain defeat in the hands of Tupas. If that is so, then he is not really a leader."
Further mentioned albeit in a positive way in Mejorada's web page was Antique Governor Sally Zaldivar-Perez who supposedly is for the Arroyo administration.
"Governor Perez warned the Arroyo administration that this move will trigger a backlash that could adversely affect the winning chances of its senatorial candidates in the May 14, 2007 elections," Mejorada stated.
Such as the woman governor supposedly added, "How could I campaign for an administration that is showing itself to be vindictive?"
