NSO-6 Year-end Assessment and Planning Workshop in Boracay
National Statistics Office (NSO) Region 6 conducted a Year-end Assessment and Planning Workshop on Civil Registration last December 13-15, 2006 at the Queen's Beach Resort in Boracay Island. In spite of the stormy weather brought by typhoon Seniang, the seminar turned out to be a successful one.
The three-day activity was participated by the City and Municipal Civil Registrars from the provinces of Iloilo, Guimaras, Capiz, Aklan, Antique and Negros Occidental.
Engr. Norman Julag-ay, Regional Director of NSO-6, spearheaded the activity which improved the knowledge of the participants about their jobs and at the same time foster camaraderie among City and Municipal Civil Registrars from all over the region. 
Also, on the first day of the event the Municipal Civil Registrars of Iloilo and Guimaras provinces held their Christmas party along the beach.
