Jaro Agro-Fair nets P300T income
The Jaro Agro-Industrial and Charity Fair garnered a net income of P300,508 for its more than a month of conducting business inside the Jaro Plaza in relation to its district fiesta. The gross income totaled to P1,677,565 and they incurred P1,333,057 for its operating expenses and other miscellaneous. Apart from the P300,508 net income, they still have a collectibles of P20,000.
Based on the financial statement rendered by Minda Labiero, assistant treasurer/disbursing officer, the charity fair has collected amounts for its tickets, stalls/kiosk, advertisement, sponsored nights and chairs rentals.
Bigger income came from the ticket sale amounting to P1,110,000. Tickets were sold at P10 and P15 during the fiesta day. They started the ticket sale last January 20 until February 4, 2007. The income for rentals for stalls/kiosk is P460,000; advertisement P87,000; sponsored nights P19,500 and chairs rental is only P215.
The financial statement was prepared by Minda Labiero, assistant treasurer/disbursing officer and audited by Sinon Janay Jr. The financial statement was attested by Julieta Diamante, president of the Association of Barangay Captains in Jaro. The Jaro Agro-Industrial and Charity Fair is being managed by the Association of Barangay Captains in Jaro.
In the operating expenses, the wages of personnel got a bigger slice of the expenditures. The expenditures for the wages of personnel amounted to P474,395. They have an expenses of P122,500 and only have some P20,000 collectibles.
In the expenses, the Jaro Agro-Industrial and Charity Fair also spent P42,500 for the Christmas party of the Association of Barangay Captains last year. And another P42,000 for the Christmas bonus of punong barangays.
The association had also made a donation of P230,000. Of the P230,00, P50,000 went to the Iloilo City Task Force Street Children which is P50,000; Iloilo City Police Precinct P20,000; Iloilo City Crisis Management P3,000; Iloilo City Rehabilitation Center P3,000; Jaro Parish Pastoral P10,500; Jaro District Police Precinct P5,000; Jaro I Health Center P3,000; Jaro II Health Center P3,000; Jaro I CSWDO P2,000; Jaro II CSWDO P2,000; Jaro Fire Department P2,000; Lopez Jaena Foundation P5,000; Jaro Elementary School District Office P20,000; Jaro National High School P2,000; Jaro City ENRO P3,000; Buntatala fire victims P10,000; incentives for punong barangay P84,000 and Iloilo City Hall Press Corps P3,000.
