Capitol celebrates 106th Semana sang Iloilo
Capitol-goers can't help but stop and take a look at
pictures being displayed at the Capitol lobby which
showcase the Iloilo Provincial Capitol Through the

The Iloilo Provincial Government celebrates this week the 106th Semana sang Iloilo from April 10-14, 2007.
The celebration with this year's theme "Iloilo: May Bulawanon nga Kahapon Padulong sa Maayo nga Palaaboton" opened yesterday with a Thanksgiving Mass celebrated by Fr. Rey Zerrudo and attended by capitol employees. This was followed by the Opening of Exhibit of Illustrious Ilonggos at the Capitol lobby and opening/blessing of Agri-Exhibit at the Capitol ground in the morning. The Awarding Ceremony for Outstanding Farmers was held at the afternoon. The cutting of ribbons was spearheaded by Gov. Niel D. Tupas, Sr. with First Lady Myrna C. Tupas and capitol chiefs of offices.

showcased in the One-Town-One-Product at the

The Agri-Exhibit showcases the One-Town-One-Product (OTOP) of each municipality in the Province of Iloilo.
Today (April 11) is scheduled for Employees Health Day. Capitol Employees can avail free medical check-up and services such as Digital Rectal Exam (for men aged 40 and above), Bone Mineral Density Test, and Acetic Acid Wash Screening. There will also be an Orientation in Prostate Diseases for Men and Annual Hospital Awards and Recognition in the morning.
On April 12 (Thursday) is scheduled for the Cooperative Congress while April 13 (Friday) will be the Employees Day and Awarding Ceremonies for Sportsfest 2007.
