ICNHS Class '50 holds reunion April 17
Alumni coming from Iloilo, Antique, Capiz, Aklan, Guimaras, Bacolod City and Metro Manila of Class 1950 Iloilo City National High School (ICNHS) in Molo will hold their 57th class reunion and homecoming on April 17, 2007 at the Marina Restaurant, Mandurriao, this city. Registration of alumni and guests will start at 9:00 a.m. of April 17 at the conference hall of Marina Restaurant at Mandurriao Diversion Road. Games, frolics, funs and interesting testimonies will follow at 10:00 a.m. and will end up to 3:00 p.m.
Registration and food for alumni will be free but each alumni with a guest will have to pay P200 for the food. The incumbent officers and directors of Class 1950 ICNHS alumni are: Dr. Rodolfo P. Gumabong, President; Engr. Emilio Antiqueña, Vice Pres.; Mrs. Corazon B. Antiqueña, Treasurer; Marcelo Mabilog, Jr. Business Manager; Dr. Ernesto Rivera, Director; Col. Rodrigo Espiñal, Director; Prof. Ester C. Capañas, Director and CEO Napoleon Tiongco, Director.
During the administration of Prof. Ester Capanas Regozo and Dr. Rodolfo P. Gumabong, the Board of Trustees of ICNHS Class 1950 Foundation Inc., approved resolutions giving financial assistance to sick alumni at P2,000 each and P5,000 death benefit. About a dozen sick alumni in the hospital and dead alumni already availed of the humble assistance and duly received by their surviving families.
Aside from the sick and death benefits extended to fellow alumni of Class 1950, Board of Trustees have also extended scholarship assistance to poor and deserving 1st year to 4th year high school students. Projects will soon be put up at the alma mater's school premises will serve as a permanent legacy of Class 1950 alumni.
