Avant garde, romantic and feminine at the Philippine Fashion Week
A Jasmine Castelo's creation
The 10th Philippine Fashion Week (PFW) came and went and some designers were very satisfied with the outcome. Take for example Ilonggos Jasmine Castelo, Aldrich Aparicio and Eric de los Santos who showcased their designs at the Rockwell Tent last March 24, 25 and 27 respectively.
Castelo shone in the Design Fusion Collection, Aparicio at the De Luxe Wear Collection sponsored by ANC and De los Santos at the Grand Allure Collection sponsored by the Lifestyle Network.
Eric De los Santos's creation
Castelo presented pieces with avant garde vitality that were shown through indigenous materials. Her collection made it to the Philippine Star's top of the crop.
Aparicio made a romantic and sensual statement by using animal and floral prints that came in black, white and red. His collection made it to Manila Bulletin Style Weekend Magazine's top collections.

De los Santos remained consistent to his line, which is feminine and romantic. He used shades of bronze, gold and silver. Handmade flower details were incorporated in all of his creations.
This is the fourth time that the trio joined the PFW, a brainchild of Joey and Audie Espino. The PFW's objective is to showcase just how exceptional Filipinos are at their craft and in doing so, help put the country in the world fashion map.
