Dulay Sr. and other Directorial Staff,
blesses the eight Toyota Hi-Lux patrol
jeeps prior to the distribution to unit
beneficiaries.
Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 received from Camp Crame eight units of Toyota Hi-Lux Patrol Jeep tagged as "Calderon Troop Carriers". The recipients of these patrol jeeps are the provincial mobile groups PMGs, namely, 603rd in Antique, 605th in Capiz, 607th and 608th in Iloilo, and 611th, 612th and 614th in Negros Occidental. And, one unit will remain in the Regional Headquarters to be used by Reserved Force.
Rev. Fr. Heintje Cañete, PRO 6 Chaplain, presided the blessing ceremony for the said patrol jeeps in front of PRO 6 Admin building yesterday before these were distributed to unit beneficiaries.
Dulay said these additional patrol jeeps will surely enhance the mobility of said PMGs especially in its campaign against the rebel groups and other criminal elements who might be out to disrupt the peaceful conduct of the upcoming election.
Meanwhile, the Dulay said, "I have directed our field commanders to strictly implement our security measures to ensure the safety not only of the political candidates but also of their supporters and the general public against any violent incident that may occur in their respective areas of responsibility."
