Father and son Benji and Coco Belgica love women. Benji said that women are the most beautiful creatures in the whole world and that women project the most shadows into art dreams. "They delight me," he said. He revealed that the highest and lowest points of his life were caused by a woman.

Even if he was commissioned to do artworks depicting the Philippine revolution, he always injects female characters. "I have to. Otherwise, I don't feel like doing it."
"Women are beautiful, desirable and untouchable. The only way to fulfill your fantasies about them is by painting them," he adds.

"My father spent most of his time in Manila, so I'm left with my mother and sisters. I know every mood swing. I love women. That includes my mother, grandmother, sister, girlfriend and exes. They fulfill me," Coco said.

That is why the duo held an exhibit entitled "Puro Babae" in Robinsons Place Iloilo recently and was attended by lots of women friends, too.
The duo owns the Atelier Banucci and Allied Arts in the said mall.
