“We only have one mom, one mommy, one mother in this world. Don't wait for tomorrow to tell mom you love her.”
Someone must have whispered this to the members of the Photographic Society of Iloilo, that staged a tribute to the most special woman in their life, their mothers and to others as well.
The society opened an exhibit entitled “The Ilongga Mother” last May 7 and will culminate on May 13, Mother's Day. The exhibit features different scenes and emotions of mothers and their children. Also featured are the pictures taken during “Sabay-sabay, Sumususo sa Nanay Year 2”, a nationwide breastfeeding activity held last May 2.
