CEO eligibility written exams set on June 10

The Examination will be held at the 2nd Floor of the Quezon Bldg., West Visayas State University (WVSU), Lapaz, Iloilo City.

The written phase is a three-hour test that will measure aptitude and competence of the examinees in the three competency areas along: Verbal Ability, Analytical Ability and Managerial Ability.
The CEO Eligibility is conferred to the 3rd Level Government Executives who comprise less than One Percent (1%) of the 1.5 million government work force. From 1996 to 2004, close to 1,500 qualified applicants from Region 6 took the Career Service Executive Examinations (CSEE) which were administered by the Civil Service Commission. During that period, less than one hundred fifty (150) officers were conferred the CEO Eligibility.
The first Unified Examination of the MATB by the CESB and the CSEE by the CSC was conducted nationwide on July 17, 2005. Only 364 examinees passed the written test for a low passing percentage of 7.28 percent. In order to help fellow career personnel and those who wish to join the 3rd Level Positions in government, the Regional Association of Career Executives of Region 6 (RACE) organized Review classes starting today until June 3 from 8am to 5pm at Saltimboca Restaurant, Lacson Street in Bacolod City. Review cost is P4,500.
