City government approves P29M for employees compensation
The City Council has allotted some P29 million for the salary increase, hazard pay, and the release of the Collective Negotiations Agreement (CNA) for the regular employees of the city government.
On Wednesday, the City Council approved Supplemental Budget No.1 amounting to P45,480,680.34 – which includes P14 million for the 10 percent salary increase of 1,757 regular employees; P7.78 million as payment for the CNA of 1,556 employees at P5,000 each; and P7,664,562 for the hazard pay of the public health office (PHO).
The hazard pay shall include PHO contractual and detailed employees. The PHO's 212 employees will receive hazard payment ranging from the minimum of P1,455 to a maximum of P4,900.
The remaining budget shall be utilized for the implementation of the city government's various projects and endeavors such as beautification program, several task forces, traffic management and others.
