Tigbauan top SB member seeks cops' help in domestic dispute
Authorities in the Tigbauan Police Office responded to a call for help in what turned out to be a domestic dispute involving the town's number one elected councilor.
Entered into the police blotter entry, the complainant-victim was identified as Councilor-elect Dr. Suzette Hilado-Banno, her attacker, her husband of many years and father of her two children.
Reports gathered by The News Today (TNT) disclosed of what was earlier observed by neighbors as a verbal exchange between the lady doctor and her husband. Minutes into the altercation, witnesses said the cops were alerted by concerned citizens as kibitzers began to gather outside the family home.
Sources further said the lady doctor went out of the Banno residence where it was then learned that she was physically manhandled.
Responding cops of the Tigbauan Police Office went to the area however no arrests were made. It was not immediately known if a case will be pursued against the lady doctor's husband.
Councilor Hilado-Banno won under the ticket of outgoing Mayor Myrna Montealegre-Torres.
