Dental extraction fees now accepted at public market cash offices
City treasurer Katherine Tingson recently announced that fees for dental extractions can now be paid at any of the satellite treasury offices situated in various public markets all over the city.
The city collects a P5.00 extraction fee for those availing of the services of the city's dentists.
Tingson said that this new scheme was though out to primarily provide convenience for the general public. "They need not go to Robinsons Place where the city treasurer's office is presently located to pay for their extraction fee. All they need to do is go to the public market nearest their locality," Tingson stated.
The satellite offices where they can pay are at City Proper (Iloilo Terminal and Central Markets), La Paz, Mandurriao, Arevalo and at Jaro big and small markets.
Dental extractions services are available at the 11 district health centers, at the Terminal Market health office and at the Bo. Obrero (Lapuz), Baluarte (Molo) and Bakhaw (Mandurriao) health centers.
Tingson also reminded everyone to make sure that they present their receipts to the city's dentists for them to be attended to.
