A romance for Joan and Fred
Joan and Fred Acevedo
Romance filled the air when Joan Villanueva and Fred Acevedo married at the San Agustin Chapel last June 2.
The bride and her entourage glowed in the creations of Mimi Advincula, who happens to be the Acevedos' family couturier in Roxas City. The bridal gown was designed by Joan herself and the sketches were realized by Bo Parcon. Her gown was embellished with rhinestones and Swarovski crystals.

The bride, a picture of beauty, grace and happiness, glowed even more through the makeup and hair-do of Nonoy Mosquera and Benjie.
Their five-layered Carrot and Chocolate Cake with glittering studs was made by Ivonne; the rings were from Tiffany and Co.; video and photography by Manila-based Rommel Guerra and company of “Timeless Memories”; and flowers by Ben Agaen of Roxas City.

Fingers and Keys from Roxas City filled the church with romantic songs as the bride walked the aisle.
The wedding was solemnized by Rev. Fr. Ramon Masculino.
The reception was at the Sunset Terrace of Hotel del Rio. There, a video presentation by the groom's siblings Ged and Pamie, with Ivan Monte, was given. Rofel Parreño and Jeanette Alicante were masters of ceremonies.
