Intoxicated
One time I was so drunk I found myself kissing a guy who I just met through a friend. It's a good thing he's cute hahaha. After he said, "What if I were a serial killer?" I decided to resume with my karate lessons. And one time, I was so drunk I lost my balance and slumped on a table filled with people.
Anyways, when you get drunk, you do stupid things. My normal reaction the next day is, "Oh shit! I did that? Oh well, get over it. Till next time hahaha."
So, what's your intoxicating story? Some friends decided to share theirs.
"I was very drunk one time that my friend got irritated with me, so he pushed me and I found myself under the table. I managed to dance, still but later on, my friends found me lying on the dance floor. I collapsed," Eric, a jewelry designer said.
For Christianne M, the most stupid thing she did when she got drunk was to sleep on her party clothes and her bag still on her shoulders. She woke up looking that way, as if she's ready to party again.
Janette P, an English teacher, said that one of the stupid things she did was trying to bite on a friend's hotdog (the food) so he ended up hitting her in the neck. "I felt like superwoman that time, invincible. I forgot that my friend was so tall and huge," she said.
Jay, a musician, on the other hand said that he was too drunk one time he ended up unzipping his fly, vomited and slept looking that way on one of the bar's sofa. Girls discovered he was wearing boxers with Mickey Mouse prints on it.
Alias Petit Moi said he's done many stupid things, but the most embarrassing was when he mistook a crystal flower vase as his glass and drank on it for quite a while. "Then, the waiter told me I was drinking from the vase," he said laughing.
Alcohol has been the world's oldest known drug. It is a central nervous system depressant that first enters your mouth, then gets into the bloodstream in the stomach (most goes to the small intestines), then to the heart, which in turn pumps alcohol throughout the body. Then, alcohol reaches the brain. Now, this is where all the drama starts and the next day, you get a hangover and a guilty conscience. But for us who do it all the time, we just move on and charge the stupid things to experience.
Anyway, according to WebMD, alcohol in low doses can produce a relaxing effect. A friend of mine was so tired one time that that she drank a bottle of beer to relax her. She ended up sleeping at a hotel lobby's sofa, with her saliva dripping from her mouth.
Alcohol also reduces tension, lowers inhibitions (like when you strip off your clothes and dance on one of the high tables at the club), impairs concentration (like when a friend talks to you and you nod yet not understanding a word he or she says), slows reflexes (cause of many vehicular accidents), impairs reaction time and reduces coordination. The latter reminds me of a beauty who practically spills liquor on everybody.
In medium doses, alcohol produces a slur speech, causes drowsiness and alter emotions. The latter reminds me of a group fight caused by an accidental nudge on the shoulder. Five men against one taekwondo expert. Of course the latter pounded the five to pieces and he sported just a blackeye the next day.
In high doses, alcohol produces vomiting, breathing difficulties, unconsciousness and coma. I had eight glasses of Vodka Tonic last Saturday and was not able to count the glasses of wine and bottles of beer thrown my way (at a time that I promised not to drink again, argh!). So, when my group and I decided to get inside an already crowded bar, only to get out through the next door, I was breathless.
Chronic alcohol use can damage the frontal lobes of the brain, cause an overall reduction in brain size and increase in the size of the ventricles, according to WebMD. It can also lead to alcoholism and a lot of health problems.
