Capiz now online
Roxas City -- The province of Capiz can now be accessed worldwide for reference of Capiceños and any interested individual through its website, www.capiz.gov.ph.
The website offers information about the province's tourist areas, trade and industries, development agenda, and directory of provincial government offices, among others.
The available online information maybe in the form of articles, images, videos and other forms of media presentation.
"Capiz, dubbed as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines, boasts of its 80-kilometer coastline and wide expanse of swampy lands easily converted into fishponds. It holds one of the richest fishing grounds and a major contributor to the aquamarine industry," the website's homepage stated.
The province is the country's major suppliers of prawn and bangus apart from a surplus of agricultural products it generates every year.
A bird's eye view image of the province's "heart of the city" gives an impression of the place as being full of enchantment and mystery. The province has 16 towns and a city as its center of trade and commerce.
The Capiz homepage now reaches almost 50,000 page views and still increasing.
Recently, the province's hymn entitled "O, Capiz" was uploaded to the YouTube for reference of those who want to know and listen to the melody of the song. (PIA)
